We generate a unique anonymous identifier for your device the first time you use the app. This identifier is stored locally on your device and is used to track your submitted groups, liked groups, and reported groups. It is not linked to your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information.
b) Location Information
With your permission, the app detects your approximate country and city using your device's location services. This is used solely to indicate the general origin of group submissions. We do not collect your precise GPS coordinates. You may deny or revoke location permission at any time in your device settings.
c) Group Submission Information
When you submit a group or channel, we collect the following information:
- Invite link (URL)
- Group or channel name
- Description
- Category and platform type
- Country and city (detected or manually entered)
- Submission timestamp
- Group image (uploaded or auto-fetched)
d) Usage Statistics
We collect anonymous usage statistics associated with each group listing:
- Number of times a group profile is viewed
- Number of times the join link is clicked
- Number of likes received
- Number of user reports received
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To display group and channel submissions to other users after review and approval
- To prevent duplicate group submissions using link matching
- To enforce community guidelines and moderate submitted content
- To show your own submissions under the 'My Groups' section
- To maintain accurate usage statistics (views, clicks, likes, reports)
- To detect and investigate misuse or policy violations
- To improve the quality and safety of the directory
3. Data Storage
Your submitted data is stored in a secure Google Sheets database managed by our team. Approved group submissions are made publicly visible within the app. Pending and rejected submissions are accessible only to our content review team.
We take reasonable technical and organizational precautions to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Easy Group Join is a free app supported by advertising. Ads are provided by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service operated by Google LLC.
Google AdMob may collect limited device identifiers, advertising IDs, and usage data to serve relevant ads in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy and AdMob policies. We do not share your personal data directly with Google AdMob beyond what is automatically collected by the AdMob SDK.
Where ads may appear in the app:
- Banner ads on Home, Category, My Groups, Add Group, and Group Detail screens
- Interstitial ads before opening WhatsApp Group, Telegram Group, or Messenger Group links
- Rewarded ads when submitting a group or channel
- No ads appear on the About screen

5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the app:
- Google Sheets — for data storage and content management
- Google AdMob — for displaying ads that support the free app
- Google Play Services — for app distribution and device integration
- Expo / React Native — for app functionality and device integration
- Device location services — for country and city detection (only when permission is granted by the user)
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or marketing companies beyond what is described in the Advertising section above. Each third-party service is governed by its own privacy policy.
6. Data Retention
Group submissions are retained for as long as the listing remains active in the app. Rejected or removed groups may be permanently deleted from our records at any time.
The anonymous device identifier stored on your device is cleared when you uninstall the app. Usage statistics associated with group listings are retained as long as the group remains in the directory.
7. Children's Privacy
Easy Group Join is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through the app, please contact us immediately and we will take appropriate action to remove it.
8. Your Rights
Since we do not collect personally identifiable information (such as names or email addresses), we are unable to identify specific user records by individual identity.
If you wish to have a specific group submission removed, you may contact us with the group details and we will review your request promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. Changes will be reflected in the 'Last Updated' date at the top of this page.
